My Father and namesake, Richard Thibodeau, Sr
My father's name is Richard Paul Thibodeau, Sr. My name is Richard Paul Thibodeau, Jr. Since my father has always been called Dick, my parents decided to call me Rik so people wouldn't get us confused. I think I got the better of that deal! He is also from the city of Claremont, NH, but he joined the Navy in the late 60's and never returned (Thank God...). After the Navy, he moved the family to Nashua, NH, which is where I was born and raised. My father has always been a big outdoorsman, and is responsible for my love of the outdoors as well. He taught me how to fish when I was little, and it became my favorite thing in the world. He also taught me how to hunt, which I didn't enjoy as much because it was too cold! To this day, a fishing trip with my father is a special occasion. Dad is now retired and living in Piermont, NH with his lovely wife Nancy. Piermont is perfect for him - nothing but trees, lakes, and dirt roads. You can't even get a cell phone signal there for goodness sakes. More power to ya dad... Click to image to enlarge
